Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy

Boston, Massachusetts

The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy is the designated steward of The Greenway in downtown Boston, maintaining, programming, and improving the public park. To foster human connection, the Conservancy partners with a breadth of arts and community-based as well as recreational businesses to offer 400 free events, contemporary art, and engaging experiences every year. An ArtsAmplified grant of $600,000 will support the Conservancy as it plans bold public art exhibitions that reimagine civic space and connect deeply with diverse audiences. Over the course of the initiative, the Conservancy will enhance its staff capacity with opportunities for training and professional development.

“In the past, funding for maintaining the park was always uncertain. Now, with a long-term, multi-party funding agreement in place for the first time in our history, we can think beyond tomorrow to present thought-provoking exhibitions.” – Jesse Brackenbury, Executive Director
