Huntington Theatre Company

The Huntington Theatre Company is a renowned professional theatre and one of the region’s premier cultural assets. The Huntington brings together superb local and national talent to produce a mix of groundbreaking new works and classics made current to engage, inspire, entertain, and challenge audiences. An ArtsAmplified grant of $900,000 will support the Huntington as it prepares to open its renovated and expanded historic facility by 2022, to increase its artistic and public programming, and to strengthen the company’s inclusiveness, cultural equity, and community ownership. Funds will help the Huntington evolve its business model, develop outward-facing and inclusive community initiatives, increase collaborative and diversified programming, and undertake audience and community engagement research.
