ArtsEmerson is a leading presenter of contemporary world theatre, and is the professional presenting and producing organization of the Office of the Arts at Emerson College. Deeply committed to cultivating diversity in art and to developing audiences that reflect Boston’s demographic makeup, ArtsEmerson aims to foster dialogue around societal challenges as a catalyst for overcoming them. An ArtsAmplified grant of $675,000 will allow ArtsEmerson to evolve as an anchor institution in Boston, leveraging opportunities around its tenth anniversary in 2020. Funds will support ArtsEmerson as it launches ambitious and culturally-relevant works, deepens its engagement initiatives, clarifies and communicates its vision and values, and builds its fundraising capacity.
