
Margo Saulnier (she/her) is the Director of Creative Strategies and Arts-Based Initiatives for the New Bedford Economic Development Council, overseeing the implementation of New Bedford Creative: Our Art, Our Culture, Our Future, the City of New Bedford’s first strategic arts and culture plan. She facilitates the 28-member leadership group New Bedford Creative Consortium, and supervises the annual Seaport Art Walk, several grant programs and training series.
Previously, she produced and programmed over 4,000 live shows for the Boston Pops at the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. She has also consulted in various capacities for Celebrity Series of Boston, including the large-scale public art project “Play Me I’m Yours: Street Pianos Boston Festival.”
Margo earned a Bachelor of Music from Boston University and a Master of Fine Arts from Brooklyn College. She volunteers on multiple boards and committees and lives in New Bedford with her family.
