Elmer Freeman

Elmer Freeman is executive director of the Center for Community Health Education Research and Service, Inc., a national model partnership promoting academic-community engagement and research. He is a recognized expert in the application of models of community-based participatory research and principles to address disparities and inequalities in health and health care of underserved communities.
Elmer is also an adjunct assistant professor and director of Urban Health Programs and Policy for the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University.
