Old Africa Map Berkana Institute (www.berkana.org)
The Berkana Institute is a worldwide community of leaders who recognize the need for change in communities, organizations, and nations. Drawing on grassroots communities of practice in Africa, India and elsewhere, Berkana develops new methods and knowledge to connect innovative leaders and communities across time and distance. Founded by and grounded in the work of famed organizational thinker Margaret Wheatley, the Berkana Institute supports pioneering leaders by helping them work locally, connect regionally, and learn globally.

Ashoka (www.ashoka.org)
Ashoka's mission is to develop the profession of social entrepreneurship around the world by investing in people. Ashoka has supported more than 1,400 fellows in 48 nations who share a unique orientation: to pursue their vision relentlessly until it becomes a reality. Ashoka Fellows are leading social entrepreneurs recognized to have innovative solutions and the potential to change patterns across society. Ashoka provides stipends and professional services that allow fellows to focus full time on their ideas for leading social change.

Third Sector New England (www.tsne.org)
Third Sector New England provides management support to help nonprofit organizations enhance their knowledge, power, and effectiveness. Based in Boston, Third Sector promotes wider recognition of community-based organizations as the primary stewards of core societal values. It provides a range of high quality consulting services and trainings, as well as initiatives in diversity and executive transitions.

Interaction Institute for Social Change (www.interactioninstitute.org)
Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC) believes that social justice demands the transformation of individuals, communities, and systems. Effective change agents begin by making a personal commitment to social transformation, right action, responsibility, ongoing learning, and skills development. They bring to their work an asset-based approach, a belief in the power of coordinated effort, respect for diversity, collaborative leadership skills, innovation, and creativity. They inspire, lead, and gather people who have a stake in making change. Together, they focus their attention on unmasking power dynamics in organizations and the broader society, redistributing power and resources, opening access to decision making and decision makers, working on systems rather than simply working in systems.  IISC was established in 1993 by Interaction Associates (IA) as an expression of its commitment to social change. IA continues to support IISC with access to its knowledge base and with a percentage of its profits and employees' time.
